Responsibilities Perform lawn care activities such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to maintain healthy turf. Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including pruning, tree trimming, planting, and mulching to promote plant health and aesthetics. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, edging, and installing landscape features. Use heavy machinery such as excavators for site preparation, grading, or hardscape installation under supervision. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and installing sprinkler lines and controllers. Execute snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for clients and staff. Support the installation of hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures with precision and care. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and tools. Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, and gardening practices. Skilled in operating hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators. Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant selection and tree care techniques. Ability to perform construction tasks related to hardscape installation confidently. Familiarity with irrigation systems maintenance and snow plowing procedures. Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive approach to safety and quality standards.
