Full-time Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. As a Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces for residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of various landscaping techniques and the ability to operate a range of tools and equipment.Duties:
- Perform groundskeeping tasks such as mowing, edging, and weeding
- Trim trees, shrubs, and hedges to maintain their shape and health
- Plant flowers, trees, and other plants according to landscape plans
- Install and maintain irrigation systems
- Build and repair fences, decks, and other hardscape features
- Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with snow plowing and ice removal during winter months
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping preferred
- Knowledge of landscape design principles and techniques
- Familiarity with hand tools, power equipment, and mechanical knowledge
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
