Job Ref:
P2688 Pinnacle Group is seeking an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to ensure that outdoor spaces across numerous housing sites are well-maintained and well-presented. You will be responsible for a variety of landscaping tasks, including mowing lawns, trimming hedges and shrubs, weeding flower beds and pathways and performing general upkeep such as clearing debris. You will operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment safely and efficiently, following all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping, be physically fit, able to work in all weather conditions and possess a keen eye for detail.

You will be joining our Soft FM team based in West Hanningfield, Our Soft FM team is responsible for a wide range grounds maintenance services across the South East of the country.

This is a full time permanent position, workingMonday to Thursday- 7.30am-3.30pm and Friday 7.30am-3pmWho we arePinnacle Group is a market-leading national provider of housing, neighbourhood and workplace services. Key ResponsibilitiesMowing, edging, and maintaining lawns to keep them neat and healthy.

Trimming and shaping hedges, shrubs and bushes to promote growth and improve appearance.

Removing weeds from flower beds, pathways and other landscaped areas to prevent overgrowth.

Planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and other plants as well as preparing soil and beds.

Clearing debris, litter picking, sweeping pathways, and maintaining cleanliness of outdoor areas.

Safely operating machinery such as mowers, strimmer and leaf blowers, along with maintaining tools and equipment.

Driving company vehicles to transport equipment and access multiple sites as required.

Following all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Performing seasonal duties like leaf clearing, frost protection, or preparing sites for different weather conditions.

Key RequirementsValid driving licenseProven experience in grounds maintenance or landscapingPhysically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Good knowledge of horticultural practices, including planting, pruning, and weed control.

Ability to operate and maintain groundskeeping machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.

Understanding of and compliance with health and safety regulations relevant to grounds maintenance.
