Landscape Laborer

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces! This energetic position involves assisting with a variety of landscaping projects, from planting and lawn care to hardscape installation and tree trimming. You will work outdoors in all weather conditions, utilizing your mechanical knowledge, hand tools, power tools, and equipment like excavators to bring landscapes to life. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in horticulture, irrigation, snow plowing, and landscape maintenance while contributing to the aesthetic appeal of commercial or residential properties. Duties Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, gardening, pruning, and tree care to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor environments Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators for installation and construction projects Support hardscape installations like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other stone or concrete features Perform lawn care duties including edging, aerating, fertilizing, and seasonal snow plowing to keep properties pristine year-round Maintain irrigation systems by installing, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to promote healthy plant growth Conduct landscape trimming and tree pruning to enhance safety and aesthetics Support general site maintenance activities such as debris removal, soil preparation, and equipment upkeep Qualifications Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction Experience or interest in lawn care, gardening, horticulture or landscape maintenance is preferred Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or other machinery is a plus but not required; training will be provided Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Knowledge of landscaping techniques including tree trimming, irrigation systems, hardscape installation, and snow plowing is advantageous Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to build a career in landscaping or horticulture.
