We are currently seeking an experienced Applied Horticulturist who is passionate about horticulture, the outdoors, and growing with a small business. As an Applied Horticulturist, you will be responsible for planting and maintaining unique gardens loaded with history and diversity. Responsibilities Manage & maintain established trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals in residential gardens Perform pruning techniques such as thinning, shaping, and hedging Ensure health and growth of plants Perform laborious tasks such as planting, mulching, edging, and sod removal Communicate effectively with fellow gardeners, clients, and leadership Qualifications Prior professional gardening and/or horticulture experience is required
