Mower/Landscaper

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mower/Landscaper to join our vibrant outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful, healthy landscapes by performing lawn care, landscape maintenance, and various horticultural tasks. Your expertise will help create inviting outdoor spaces that enhance property value and aesthetic appeal. Duties Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as excavators to maintain lawns and landscapes efficiently. Perform mowing, edging, pruning, tree trimming, shrubbery care, and planting to ensure healthy growth and attractive appearance. Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including planting flowers, installing mulch, and maintaining garden beds. Carry out irrigation system installation and repairs to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas. Execute hardscape projects such as installing pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor features. Provide snow plowing services during winter months to keep walkways and driveways clear. Maintain equipment regularly through cleaning, sharpening blades, oiling machinery, and troubleshooting mechanical issues to ensure optimal performance. Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge with experience operating landscaping machinery and hand tools. Strong lawn care skills including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and weed control. Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices such as pruning, planting, irrigation systems, and garden care. Familiarity with landscaping design principles and hardscape installation techniques. Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently; experience with excavators is a plus. Basic understanding of horticulture principles and tree care techniques including trimming and removal. Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy equipment or materials as needed. Prior experience in construction or outdoor maintenance is desirable; certification in landscaping or related fields is a bonus.
