Landscape Laborer

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Laborer to join our team and contribute to a variety of outdoor projects. This role involves performing landscape maintenance, lawn care, and construction tasks to enhance the beauty and functionality of outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture, landscaping, and outdoor work, with the ability to operate various tools and equipment safely and efficiently. Duties Assist with landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, planting, and pruning trees and shrubs Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems Perform lawn care tasks such as edging, aerating, and fertilizing Install hardscape features like patios, walkways, and retaining walls Conduct snow plowing and removal during winter months as needed Support construction projects involving landscape installation or renovation Maintain equipment through routine cleaning and minor repairs Ensure safety protocols are followed during all outdoor activities Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards Requirements Prior experience in landscaping, lawn care, or construction is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as excavators are advantageous Knowledge of horticulture, tree care, irrigation systems, gardening, and snow plowing is a plus Ability to perform physical labor including lifting heavy materials and operating machinery safely Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety standards Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Valid driver's license is preferred for equipment operation or transportation purposes This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about outdoor work and landscape maintenance to develop their skills in a dynamic environment.
