Job Description

Golf Course Maintenance Manor Country Club Inc. Rockville, Maryland. Golf Course Maintenance.
Job duties:
Perform daily tasks to maintain the golf course and surrounding facilities in safe, attractive, and functional condition.
Responsibilities include:
mowing greens, tees, fairways, and rough areas; trimming and pruning trees, shrubs, and ornamental landscaping; edging and maintaining cart paths, bunkers, and sprinkler heads; repairing ball marks, divots, and performing sod installation; operating and maintaining equipment such as utility carts, tractors, blowers, hand tools, and other turf machinery; applying fertilizers and chemicals as directed by supervisors; assisting with irrigation, drainage repair, and tree removal; cleaning and inspecting machinery after use and reporting deficiencies; following established safety standards and wearing protective gear as required; and, performing heavy physical work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Position requires outdoor work on golf course and clubhouse grounds with exposure to inclement weather, fertilizers, pesticides, and heavy equipment. Requires a High school diploma or GED and 36 months of experience in property groundskeeping and/or advanced machinery cleaning and maintenance. Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and perform constant bending, lifting and outdoor physical work for extended periods. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Wage $46,904.
