Job Description

Are you looking to spend your workdays by the water? Abel's Marina and Boatyard is seeking a hardworking, dependable, and enthusiastic Marina & Boatyard worker to join our team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily waterfront and yard operations, ensuring our facility runs smoothly and our customers' vessels are meticulously cared for. Key Responsibilities:
Vessel Handling:
Assist with boat launching, hauling, loading onto lifts, trailers, and the storage of boats onto stands.
Boat Maintenance:
Perform boat bottom painting, power washing, hull cleaning, buffing and waxing, and detailing.
Boat Service:
Engine work, carpentry, mechanical, fiberglassing, painting, step masts, and rigging.
Facility Upkeep:
Maintain overall cleanliness of the marina and boatyard, maintenance and repair equipment.
Team Support:
Work closely with our operations manager and other technicians to prepare boats on time.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age. Valid driver's license. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, lift up to 50lbs, and comfortably climb in and out of boats. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays during peak boating season. Strong attention to detail, a safety-first mindset, and excellent teamwork skills. Experience in towing trailers, operating machinery, or basic boat handling is a huge plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate!
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive pay Health Insurance Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays 401(k) with company match

$16.00 - $25.00 per hour
