Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces and possess a strong understanding of various landscaping techniques. This role involves working outdoors, utilizing mechanical knowledge, and performing hands-on tasks to ensure the health and aesthetics of gardens, lawns, and other landscaped areas. Responsibilities Perform routine groundskeeping tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Dig, plant, and maintain various types of plants and trees in accordance with landscaping designs. Operate and maintain power tools and equipment safely and efficiently. Implement irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and landscapes. Conduct tree care activities such as pruning, fertilizing, and pest control. Collaborate with team members to complete landscaping projects on time. Monitor the health of plants and landscapes, identifying any issues that require attention. Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly storing tools and equipment after use. Experience Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not mandatory. Mechanical knowledge related to the operation of landscaping equipment is a plus. Familiarity with garden maintenance practices including planting, pruning, and irrigation techniques. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical tasks.
