Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscaper to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces by performing a variety of landscaping tasks. Your expertise will help transform outdoor environments into vibrant, functional, and aesthetically pleasing areas. All work is paid, including internships, ensuring you gain valuable experience while earning. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, and trimming trees and shrubs to ensure healthy growth and attractive appearances. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for planting, trimming, and installation projects. Use equipment like excavators for larger landscaping projects including grading, digging trenches, and installing hardscape features such as patios or walkways. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and installing sprinklers to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas. Conduct lawn care activities including fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to promote lush greenery. Assist with construction projects involving hardscape installations like retaining walls or pathways while adhering to safety standards. Provide tree care services such as trimming, pruning, and health assessments to sustain tree vitality. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various landscaping machinery and tools effectively. Extensive experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices. Proficiency with hand tools (shovels, rakes) and power tools (trimmers, blowers) for diverse landscaping tasks. Familiarity with operating construction equipment such as excavators for large-scale projects. Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and maintenance to support healthy plant growth. Ability to perform tree care including trimming and pruning safely while understanding tree health principles. Experience in snow plowing during winter months to keep outdoor spaces accessible year-round. Strong understanding of hardscape features like patios or walkways installation. Excellent skills in landscape design principles and garden planning. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various outdoor conditions while maintaining safety standards.
