Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader

We're a locally-owned lawn care and landscaping company in Bay City looking for a dependable, hardworking Crew Leader to run a 2-3 person crew. If you take pride in your work and want to grow with a solid team, we want to hear from you.

YOUR MISSION

Lead your crew to 100% daily route completion with zero client complaints — every single day.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Check weather each morning and plan the day's route; notify crew of any schedule changes Drive the work truck and pull the trailer to each job site Assign tasks to each crew member to keep jobs moving efficiently with minimal downtime Operate zero-turn mowers, push mowers, weed whackers, and leaf blowers Perform quality control walkthroughs at every job before leaving Keep equipment fueled, stocked, and clean — blown off and emptied at end of every day Text the manager immediately if anything changes from the planned schedule Perform general landscaping and outdoor maintenance as needed

PAY & BENEFITS

Starting pay: $20/hrPay potential: $25/hr + performance bonuses Paid weekly via direct deposit Raises tied to performance and growth Full on-the-job training provided — no experience required Real opportunity for long-term advancement

REQUIREMENTS

Must be 21 years of age or older Must live in Bay City or Essexville, MI Reliable transportation to our Bay City shop by 8:30 AM Able to work 10+ hour days outdoors Strong communicator who can lead a small team and follow directions Dependable, accountable, and consistent — this is a no-excuses crew
