In this role, you will take charge of landscape installation, maintenance, and enhancement projects, ensuring each job is completed with precision and care. Responsibilities Perform landscape installation tasks including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as patios and walkways using appropriate tools and techniques Maintain lawns through mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to ensure healthy, vibrant turf Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as pruning trees and shrubs, trimming hedges, and managing irrigation systems for optimal growth Operate hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools (trimmers, blowers, saws) safely and efficiently to complete various landscaping projects Use heavy machinery like excavators for site preparation or large-scale landscaping tasks while adhering to safety protocols Provide expert tree care including trimming, pruning, and removal when necessary to promote health and safety Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure clear pathways and driveways for clients Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and tools for troubleshooting and maintenance Extensive experience in lawn care and landscape maintenance practices Proficiency with hardscape construction including patios, retaining walls, and pathways Knowledge of horticulture principles for plant selection and garden design Ability to operate land management machinery such as excavators safely and effectively Skilled in irrigation system installation and repair to support healthy landscapes Familiarity with gardening techniques, tree trimming standards, snow plowing procedures, and overall landscape upkeep Excellent understanding of safety procedures when handling power tools and heavy machinery Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients on project requirements Join us in creating stunning outdoor environments!
