• The position includes responsibilities of all areas of the golf course grounds operations that include; mowing, weed whipping, maintenance of the golf course, practice facility, short game areas, and clubhouse surrounds.

• Some experience in playing golf, golf course maintenance, ornamental horticulture,lawn care, farming, heavy equipment use, or a relatable field is preferred, but notrequired.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Mowing, weed whipping, and grounds maintenance. • Duties of the position shall be performed with a commitment to the highest level of quality and total satisfaction of all members and guests.• Reports directly to Golf Course Superintendent or his/her designee.• Cultivates an environment of belonging that values, respects, supports, and celebrates individual similarities and differences, allowing students, faculty and staff to thrive authentically.• Support, promote, and develop university student enrollment and retention initiatives.• Operates university motor or personal vehicles safely while carrying out job responsibilities.• Any other duties assigned within the position classification area.
