POSITION SUMMARY C2B

Outdoor Services is seeking motivated, reliable Landscape Construction & Maintenance Laborers to join our growing team. This role is hands-on and outdoors, supporting both landscape construction projects and property maintenance services . You will work under the direction of a Crew Leader or Supervisor and play a key role in building, improving, and maintaining high-quality outdoor spaces for our clients. As a Laborer, you will perform physical work using hand tools, power equipment, and landscaping machinery while maintaining a clean, safe, and professional job site. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outside, learning new skills, and being part of a disciplined, team-oriented environment.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

RESPONSIBILITIES

)Landscape Construction & Installation Assisting with landscape construction projects , including: Planting trees, shrubs, perennials, and annuals Sod installation and soil preparation Grading and site prep Drainage and yard renovation projects Demolition and removal of existing landscaping materials Supporting skilled trades during hardscape and construction work Loading, unloading, and transporting materials and equipment Landscape Maintenance Performing routine landscape maintenance tasks such as: Trimming, pruning, and hedging Bed clean-outs and debris removal Mulching and edging Seasonal property clean-ups Maintaining a clean, professional appearance at all job sites Equipment & Job Site Support Safely operating hand tools and gas-powered equipment (trimmers, blowers, rakes, shovels, etc.) Cleaning, maintaining, and properly storing tools and equipment Keeping work areas organized and free of hazards Following all company, local, state, and federal safety guidelines Reporting equipment issues, safety concerns, or job site problems to supervisors

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

(REQUIRED) High School Diploma or equivalent 1+ year of landscaping or construction experience Valid Michigan Driver's License with clean driving record Ability to communicate in English (Spanish a plus) Willingness to learn — on-the-job training provided

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods Ability to lift and move up to 80 lbs regularly Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Ability to operate tools and equipment safely Required use of OSHA-approved PPE Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
