Groundskeeper starting at $18/hr

The Solomon Organization has an opening for a Groundskeeper at Manors at Knollwood Apartments in Clinton Township, MI. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of six months previous experience in a related field of maintenance. Pay commensurate with experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Will learn to diagnose and repair resident service requests Grounds duties with trash, projects, and snow removal duties Assists with apartment make-readies Assists with Preventative Maintenance Assists in picking up litter Other duties as assigned by supervisor

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work full time 40 hours per week plus on-call as scheduled Minimum of 1 year hand on experience in a related field of maintenance Ability to assess problems and solve them with a strong sense of urgency Must own some basic tools for use on the job Must have own transportation to move around the community

EXPECTATIONS

Attendance is an imperative job function as is working in a team oriented environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS IN ADDITION TO THOSE LISTED ABOVE

Ability to lift 50+ lbs. Position requires bending, lifting, kneeling, twisting, and performing installations at awkward angles. Work environment may include loud noises, dust, dirt, and minor hazards.
