Job Description

A golf course maintenance job description involves shaping the turf, plants, and trees on the golf course, and keeping them trimmed, watered, and free of debris . It also involves maintaining the condition and appearance of the greens, fairways, bunkers, tee boxes, flags, cups, yardage markers, and other features of the course. Additionally, it may include operating and repairing various types of lawn mowers, sprinkler systems, golf carts, and other motorized equipment. A golf course maintenance worker may work under the supervision of a superintendent, assistant superintendent, foreman, or equipment operator.
