Role:
True North Golf Club, LLC, located in Harbor Springs, Michigan, seeks four (4) full-time, temporary Groundskeepers who will be responsible for maintaining and landscaping golf course, cottage, and club grounds, including but not limited to tees, greens, fairways, and cart paths using hand and power tools and equipment. Groundskeepers will be responsible for the operation and cleaning of motorized and other mechanical equipment. Groundskeepers will operate Toro MDX golf utility vehicles with dump beds, self-propelled walk mowers, string trimmers, backpack blowers, and hand edgers to mow fairways and maintain golf course areas. Groundskeepers will clean equipment with a hose after use and will be instructed to move reel mower blades with feet only when washing blades. Groundskeepers will also use rakes to rake bunkers and shovels to dig holes when necessary. Responsibilities may also include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, and sprinkler installation. Must have the ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 50 pounds on occasion and 25 pounds repetitively. Must have the ability to stand and walk for the entire length of shift. Will report directly to the Golf Course Superintendent at True North Golf Club.
