Job Overview Join our team as a Grounds Maintenance Specialist. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the landscape of diverse properties, ensuring they look vibrant, healthy, and inviting. Your hands-on skills with gardening, lawn care, and landscape maintenance will help create stunning outdoor environments that leave a lasting impression. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to keep grounds pristine and healthy Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for planting, weed control, and soil preparation Conduct regular lawn care activities such as fertilizing, aerating, and overseeding to promote lush growth Assist with gardening tasks like planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while following horticultural best practices Maintain equipment by cleaning, inspecting, and performing routine repairs to ensure safety and efficiency Support overall land management by applying landscaping techniques that enhance aesthetic appeal and sustainability Experience Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for outdoor work is essential Knowledge of irrigation systems, lawn care techniques, and horticulture principles is highly desirable Familiarity with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes; experience with power tools like trimmers or blowers is a plus Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and effectively in various weather conditions Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to landscape maintenance and gardening tasks Physical stamina to perform outdoor work that involves bending, lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to cultivate their landscaping skills while contributing to beautiful outdoor spaces.
