May 28, 2026 Position Summary The Maintenance Landscape/Lawn Mowing Staff position is responsible for maintaining the exterior appearance, safety, and cleanliness of company properties through landscaping, lawn care, and grounds maintenance activities. This role operates outdoor power equipment, supports seasonal property maintenance, and ensures all assigned properties meet company appearance standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate lawn mowers, weed trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and other outdoor power equipment safely and effectively. Mow lawns, trim landscaping, edge sidewalks, and maintain flower beds and exterior property areas. Drive company truck and trailer to transport landscaping equipment and supplies between locations. Perform seasonal groundskeeping tasks including leaf removal, mulching, planting, and debris cleanup. Inspect equipment before and after use and report maintenance or repair needs promptly. Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly store equipment and materials. Assist with snow removal and seasonal exterior maintenance tasks as assigned. Follow all company safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment. Maintain attention to detail to ensure all properties meet company appearance expectations. Communicate property issues, hazards, or maintenance concerns to the supervisor. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to safely operate outdoor power equipment and landscaping tools. Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining property appearance. Ability to tow and maneuver a trailer safely. Dependability and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid driver's license required. Must be able to drive a truck and trailer safely. Prior landscaping, lawn care, or grounds maintenance experience preferred. Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends as needed. Physical Demands and Work Environment Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and other weather conditions. Frequent operation of outdoor power equipment and tools.
