Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance Specialist, where your passion for outdoor beauty and horticulture will thrive! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the landscape environment through skilled landscaping, lawn care, irrigation, and gardening practices. Your enthusiasm for working outdoors and attention to detail will help create vibrant, healthy, and inviting outdoor spaces that inspire and delight. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in landscape maintenance while contributing to the beautification of community spaces. Our associates get to golf TimberStone Golf Course for free! Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to keep outdoor areas pristine. Operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, and lawn mowers safely and efficiently. Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns. Use hand tools for planting, weeding, mulching, and other gardening activities to promote healthy growth. Conduct regular landscaping inspections to identify issues and implement necessary repairs or adjustments. Assist with seasonal planting, flower bed preparation, and soil preparation to enhance aesthetic appeal. Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance. Qualifications Prior experience or training in landscaping, horticulture, or gardening is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is valued. Knowledge of irrigation systems, landscape maintenance techniques, and lawn care practices is a plus. Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely while adhering to safety protocols. Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry equipment or materials as needed. Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of landscape quality.
