Duties Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to maintain lush, healthy grass areas. Conduct landscape maintenance such as planting, pruning, tree trimming, and shrub care to enhance visual appeal. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for various groundskeeping activities. Use equipment like bobcat for larger landscaping projects or site improvements Clear snow using snow plowing equipment during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible. Support general maintenance tasks including repairing fences, benches, or other outdoor structures. Perform tree care activities including planting, trimming, and health assessments to promote safety and growth. Follow safety protocols at all times while handling tools and machinery to prevent accidents or injuries. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge combined with experience operating landscaping machinery such as bobcats , tractors, mowers and power tools. Proficiency in lawn care practices including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aeration. Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques like pruning, planting, and hardscape installation. Hands-on experience with gardening tools and equipment for routine groundskeeping tasks. Ability to perform tree trimming and tree care with safety awareness. Basic construction skills for installing or repairing outdoor features such as pathways or fences. Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects when necessary.
