Job Description
SALARY:
$15.50 per hourCONDITIONS
1st Shift (6:00 am - 2:30 pm) 40 hours per week Contracted through EdustaffQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Two (2) or more years of experience in landscaping, lawn care, excavation, snow removal, material handling equipment or other related operations. Possess and maintain a valid Michigan driver's license. Working knowledge of small engine maintenance and repair or ability to learn. Experience in operating commercial lawn mower and snow plowing equipment. Ability to measure and apply herbicides, fertilizers and weed control while maintaining a safe environment for students, staff and public. Ability to lift and carry items up to 80 pounds. Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding and work in confined spaces. Working knowledge of the operations and maintenance of irrigation systems. Ability to work overtime and alternate hours depending on weather conditions. Must have an acceptable attendance record and good punctuality. Ability to work with a minimal amount of direct supervision.
