Responsibilities Maintain and enhance garden beds, lawns, and landscape features through planting, pruning, mowing, and edging using hand tools and power tools. Implement irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules for diverse plantings and turf areas. Assist with greenhouse operations, including plant propagation, transplanting, and environmental control to promote healthy growth. Conduct regular landscape maintenance tasks such as fertilizing, aerating, mulching, and pest management to sustain plant health. Support farming activities by planting crops or flowers, managing soil health, and harvesting when appropriate. Use landscaping equipment efficiently to perform tasks like trimming hedges, installing new plants, or preparing soil beds. Collaborate with team members to plan seasonal planting schedules and execute landscape projects that meet client specifications. Skills Proven experience in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance with a strong understanding of plant care principles. Knowledge of irrigation systems and greenhouse management techniques. Familiarity with lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and pest control. Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, pruners, rakes as well as power tools like trimmers and blowers safely and effectively. Experience with farming or agricultural practices related to crop cultivation or flower production is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely while maintaining safety standards.
