Job Summary:

The Lawn Maintenance Crew Member is responsible for providing high-quality lawn care services, including mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, and site clean-up for residential and commercial properties. This role requires the safe and competent operation of zero-turn mowers, string trimmers, and blowers. The ideal candidate has a mechanical background and supports the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of all lawn care equipment. During the winter months, this position transitions to operating an RTV as part of the downtown snow removal crew and serves as an on-call mechanic to support winter operations.

Essential Job Functions:

Perform mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing duties at client properties according to service expectations Operate lawn care equipment safely and efficiently, including zero-turn mowers, trimmers, and blowers Follow assigned route and property list to ensure timely completion of all tasks Clean up all debris and ensure a neat and professional appearance of each property Assist with maintenance and minor repairs of equipment used in daily operations Identify and report any property issues or hazards to the Lawn Maintenance Crew Lead or Manager Maintain a professional demeanor and work cooperatively with crew members and supervisors In the winter, operate an RTV for snow and salt application as part of the downtown snow crew Serve as an on-call support mechanic for equipment issues during winter shifts

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent At least 1 year of experience in lawn care or groundskeeping preferred Competency operating a zero-turn mower, trimmer, and blower Mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist with equipment repairs Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and winter on-call shifts Ability to reliably report to job sites and follow route assignments What we offer: Competitive compensation 100% company paid health insurance for employee and dependents 100% company paid dental and vision for employee and dependents 401k with 3% company match Overtime after 8 hours PTO And much more!
