Lawn Mower Operator/ Landscaper

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our landscaping team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces and possess a strong understanding of groundskeeping practices. This role involves operating various mowing equipment, performing landscape maintenance, and contributing to the overall aesthetic of our clients' properties. Responsibilities Operate and maintain mowing equipment to ensure efficient and effective grass cutting. Perform landscape maintenance tasks including weeding, mulching, and planting. Assist in tree care activities such as tree trimming and pruning. Participate in snow plowing/ shoveling operations during winter months to maintain accessibility. Collaborate with the landscaping team to build hardscape features like patios and walkways. Ensure all equipment is cleaned, serviced, and stored properly after use. Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines. Qualifications Proven experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed (preferred but not needed). Familiarity with mowing techniques and landscape design principles. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Experience in tree care practices (preferred but not needed). Knowledge of snow plowing techniques is beneficial during winter seasons. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
