Landscape Laborer

Job Summary Join our dynamic landscaping team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors in various weather conditions, contributing to landscape projects that range from lawn care to hardscape installations. You will assist with planting, trimming, mowing, and maintaining landscapes while gaining hands-on experience with a variety of tools and equipment. Duties Assist with landscape installation projects including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as patios and walkways Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, aerating, and fertilizing to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy Maintain landscapes through pruning, tree trimming, hedge trimming, and shrub shaping to promote growth and aesthetics Operate hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools (weed whackers, blowers, trimmers) safely and efficiently Assist with general site cleanup, debris removal, and routine maintenance of landscaping equipment Experience Prior experience in landscaping or gardening is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential Basic mechanical knowledge helpful for operating equipment Familiarity with lawn care practices including mowing and fertilizing is advantageous Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including tree care and hardscape installation is beneficial Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively is preferred Strong work ethic with attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards
