Groundsman

Immediate openings for Groundsman on our tree crew! Experienced Groundsman are encouraged to apply, but willing to train the right candidate! Precision has been in the tree business for over 40 years and is looking to expand! Work as part of a team in a fast paced outdoor setting. Under supervision of an experienced crew lead, candidates will be trained on safe and proper methods for tree care, maintenance, and removal. Workers will start and end the day at our Little Canada, MN office. There is plenty of room to grow in this rewarding line of work. Responsibilities:

 Receive direction from crew lead  Drive pickup truck with trailer to jobsite (CDL not required, but highly desirable)  Assist with traffic control and flagging operations  Felling, bucking, and limbing of trees from the ground using chainsaws, handsaws, and polesaws  Pruning trees from the ground using chainsaws, handsaws, and polesaws  Dragging and stacking brush and logs  Operating small equipment (mini skidsteer, stump grinder, etc)  Rope management for all climbing and rigging operations  Final cleanup of jobsite  Basic equipment maintenance (fuel, greasing, cleaning, checking fluids)

Requirements:
