Summary Phillips Garden is looking for Gardeners to join our talented team of Horticulturists for the upcoming season. This is a full-time, seasonal position. Duties include pruning, soil preparation, planting, mulching, watering, weeding, and some light landscaping work. We seek positive and energetic people who are flexible and enjoy working collaboratively with others in an outdoor environment. If you're a team player with a positive attitude , strong work ethic and curiosity to learn more about plants, we encourage you to apply! Key Responsibilities Load trucks at the beginning of the day. Perform gardening tasks as directed by a Crew Leader or Account Manager at client properties. Weeding and cultivating gardens Pinching, trimming & pruning plants Spreading mulch & compost Applying amendments as directed Plant trees, shrubs, perennials, and annuals Drive to pick up and drop off materials as directed Unload trucks at the end of the day, ensuring that all equipment and plants are properly secured. Light landscape and hardscape installation Uphold company core values Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Strong work ethic; dependable, punctual, professional, and safety minded Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and desire to keep learning Ability to work on a team Ability to be trained on plant materials, tools and best horticultural practices. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at a steady pace High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred. Previous gardening experience and basic plant knowledge preferred. Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
