Our Landscape Crew Members, under the direction of a Crew Lead and Landscape Designer, play the integral role of transforming a concept on a piece of paper into a living work of art. Our Landscape Crew is team-focused and takes pride both in the work that they accomplish and the culture that they cultivate. Landscape Crew Members take on many tasks throughout the day; planting, hardscape installation, demolition, soil amending, mulching, and cleanup are some of the different day-to-day responsibilities. Our projects include everything from small residential yards to large commercial installations. We encourage everyone on our teams to learn from each other, grow as coworkers and leaders, and enjoy their time at work. The Landscape Crew Member role is a highly-rewarding position for someone who likes to work hard, has an appetite for learning, and enjoys getting their hands dirty.
What we are looking for:
Previous experience working with plants and hardscapes preferred - we are a design/build landscape company High school diploma, GED or equivalent. Valid driver's license and ability to obtain Medical Examiner's Certificate for driving Tangletown Vehicles as requested. Access to a personal vehicle to travel to job sites in the Twin Cities metro area. Ability to communicate clearly. Good physical condition, manual dexterity and stamina. Able to bend, kneel, walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time during the workday. Able to lift 60-80 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday. Able to work in all outdoor conditions: heat, cold, humidity, rain, dust, mud, etc. Positive outlook, 'can do' attitude, and a team player.
This job will be:
Full-time, Seasonal; typically mid-April through late November/early December. Variable work hours, scheduled weekly, and generally between the hours of 7:30am and 6:30 pm. Weekends or overtime on an as-needed basis. Hours vary by month based on business demands.
