Job Description
Position Overview:
The Grounds Worker is responsible for maintaining the grounds whether through flowers, irrigation, upkeep or other form of landscaping.About Cote Family Companies:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Follows direction regarding landscaping projectsTimely completes assigned landscaping/grounds maintenance tasksMaintains open and positive communication with all other departments, ones supervisor(s) and co-workers.
Maintains vehicles, Identifies supply needs, and may assist in ordering Works as a team with grounds crew and/or other department employees on assignmentsMaintains safe work habits and uses all safety precautions recommended for each tool or machinery in order to maintain a safe work environment Other duties may be assigned
Job Requirements:
General knowledge and working ability in landscaping, irrigation, horticultureAbility to manage time well, meet imposed deadlines and ability to work flexible hoursThe position requires the ability to lift over 50 pounds occasionally.This position requires the ability to stand, walk (6-7 hours at a time), and climb stairs, reach & bend. The position requires that the employee be able to read basic chemical labels and write in complete sentences in submitting reports and assessments.
For year-round work (specifically in winter season), must have valid drivers license (If a different state, must be eligible to obtain appropriate license for state of operation)Education & Experience High school diploma or GED Microsoft Office experience required (Excel proficiency highly preferred)Valid drivers license for use of company vehicles may be required #GVL
