Seasonal Groundskeeper

Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Groundskeeper / Maintenance Technician to help maintain the beauty, safety, and functionality of our lake resort property. This role combines outdoor groundskeeping with general maintenance responsibilities to ensure an excellent experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities Groundskeeping Duties:

Mow lawns, trim edges, and maintain landscaped areas Maintain beaches, docks, and waterfront areas Plant, water, and care for flowers, shrubs, and trees Remove debris, leaves, and trash from resort grounds Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal and leaf cleanup

Maintenance Duties:

Perform basic repairs on buildings, cabins, and common areas Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment Address minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry issues Maintain and repair tools, equipment, and vehicles Prepare cabins and facilities for guest arrivals

General Support:

Respond promptly to maintenance requests Ensure safety standards are upheld across the property Assist with special projects and improvements as needed Desired Characteristics Dependable and self-motivated Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Positive attitude and willingness to help guests and team members Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Required Skills & Qualifications Basic knowledge of maintenance tasks (plumbing, electrical, carpentry) Experience with landscaping and groundskeeping equipment Ability to safely operate tools such as mowers, trimmers, and power tools Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor Valid driver's license preferred Preferred Experience Previous experience in resort, campground, or property maintenance Familiarity with lakefront or marina environments Experience with small engine repair or equipment maintenance
