This position performs a variety of groundskeeping, landscaping, property maintenance, and event support duties to ensure guests enjoy a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Essential Job Functions Mow, trim, edge, and maintain lawns and landscaped areas. Plant, water, prune, weed, mulch, and maintain flowers, shrubs, trees, and gardens. Operate and maintain lawn mowers, weed trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, and other landscaping equipment safely. Remove leaves, debris, trash, fallen limbs, and storm damage throughout the property. Maintain campsites, cabins, walking trails, picnic areas, playgrounds, and common areas. Assist with setup and teardown for concerts, festivals, corporate events, and other special events. Inspect the property daily for hazards and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Perform light maintenance and repairs, including painting, fencing, signage, and minor carpentry. Assist with seasonal property improvements, landscaping projects, and beautification efforts. Maintain outdoor furniture, fire pits, picnic tables, and recreational areas. Assist with snow removal or ice mitigation when necessary (if applicable). Follow all safety procedures and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE). Provide courteous assistance to guests when needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of lawn care and landscaping techniques. Ability to safely operate power equipment and hand tools. Basic understanding of irrigation systems is preferred. Strong attention to detail. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize work and complete tasks efficiently. Ability to identify potential safety hazards.
Physical Requirements This position requires:
Standing and walking for extended periods. Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching, climbing, and lifting. Regular lifting of up to 50 pounds; occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds with assistance. Working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, rain, cold, and uneven terrain. Ability to safely operate power equipment.
