Landscape Laborer

Job Summary We are searching for a talented and dedicated landscaper to join our team. You will perform a range of duties, including applying fertilizers, maintaining the landscape design, removing weeds, and keeping the area tidy. As the landscaper, you will ensure the growth and vibrancy of our plants, flowers, and overall look of the gardens for our clients. The ideal candidate will be creative, enjoy working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and a team player. We do not provide lawn care. Essential Experience and Functions Performs landscaping and maintenance activities including cultivating, planting, watering, fertilizing, weeding, pruning gardens, shrubs and trees. Experience in plants, shrubs, trees, flowers, vegetation and sod installation. Ability and knowledge following detailed plans and directions. Operates hand and power equipment such as tillers, sweepers, edgers, shovels, including tractors, skid steer or dingo. Performs routine assembly, cleaning and maintenance of equipment as needed. Ability to perform physical work requiring bending, stooping, reaching, carrying, and frequent heavy lifting; to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions. Follows workplace safety and environmental practices. Job Description Install plant material (annuals, perennials, shrubs, and trees), mulch, light hardscape and low-voltage lighting. Maintain gardens including trimming, weeding, dividing and transplanting. Work with hand tools and small machinery to complete projects. Maintain a professional attitude at job sites and represent the company in a professional manner. Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Be coachable and teachable. Must be able to lift 50lbs.
