Job Description

We are currently seeking a Grounds Maintenance Technician to join our team at a North of the River apartment portfolio. In this role, you'll help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that residents are proud to call home. About the
Role:
This position requires a dependable, hands-on professional with a strong background in grounds upkeep and general maintenance. The ideal candidate will be experienced in groundskeeping, able to work independently, and capable of identifying maintenance issues and executing solutions with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Grounds Maintenance & Curb Appeal Maintain overall cleanliness and appearance of the property Blow breezeways and parking lots, pressure wash surfaces, and touch up paint Address landscaping needs and identify potential hazards or aesthetic concerns General Maintenance Remove debris and trash from common areas Change locks and lightbulbs Install appliances as needed Perform general repairs (painting, caulking, light drywall repair) Ensure all systems in common areas are in working order Lift and carry up to 40-50 lbs. Other Duties Respond to work orders promptly and professionally Identify and resolve maintenance issues proactively Carry out other tasks as assigned by the
Property Manager Requirements:
Previous experience in groundskeeping, apartment, residential, or facility maintenance Ability to work independently and take initiative Strong problem-solving and technical skills Reliable transportation Basic hand tools for maintenance work Self-motivated and service-oriented mindset Ability to work in all weather conditions If you're a dependable and skilled technician who takes pride in your work and enjoys being part of a team that values quality and community, we'd love to hear from you!
