Position Summary The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness, appearance, and curb appeal of the community. This role ensures that all common areas, amenities, and exterior spaces are clean, safe, and well-maintained. The Groundskeeper plays an important role in supporting the maintenance team and contributing to a positive resident experience through consistent attention to detail and pride in the community.

Key Responsibilities Grounds & Curb Appeal Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all exterior areas, including walkways, parking lots, breezeways, and common spaces Pick up trash and debris throughout the community on a daily basis Assist with basic landscaping tasks such as watering, weeding, and maintaining flower beds Ensure amenities and outdoor areas are clean, organized, and ready for resident use Maintenance & Make-Ready Support Assist the maintenance team with trash-outs, unit turns, and preparation of vacant units Support make-ready efforts by ensuring surrounding areas are clean and presentable Report any maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or property damage promptly Safety & Compliance Follow all company safety policies and procedures Maintain awareness of potential hazards and report unsafe conditions immediately Properly use and maintain tools, equipment, and supplies Team Support & Customer Service Interact professionally with residents, vendors, and team members Respond to direction from the Maintenance Supervisor in a timely manner Contribute to a team-focused environment that prioritizes cleanliness, safety, and resident satisfactionQUALIFICATIONS
A high school diploma or equivalent is required A current driver's license is required One year of customer service experience in property management, retail, hospitality, or similar industry is required Familiarity with Fair Housing and commitment to abiding by all Fair Housing regulations is requiredSOFT SKILLS
