Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Irrigation and Landscape Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems while supporting various landscape maintenance projects. Your expertise will help ensure our clients' properties are beautiful, healthy, and efficiently irrigated. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in landscaping and horticulture while working on diverse projects. Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems using hand tools and power tools to ensure optimal water distribution. Perform routine lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to maintain healthy turf. Support landscape maintenance activities including planting, pruning, mulching, and general site cleanup. Operate construction equipment such as excavators for site preparation or drainage work when needed. Assist with landscape installation projects by using hand tools and power tools to shape the environment creatively. Conduct inspections of irrigation systems and landscape features to identify issues or areas for improvement. Follow safety protocols diligently during all tasks to maintain a safe working environment. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot irrigation systems and landscape equipment. Experience with irrigation installation, repair, and maintenance techniques. Knowledge of lawn care practices and landscape maintenance procedures. Familiarity with landscaping principles including planting, hardscaping, and waterscaping. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators. Understanding of horticulture fundamentals to promote healthy plant growth.
