Job Overview Lost Valley Lake Resort is a well-known private, family oriented Campground and Vacation resort near Owensville MO. We are currently hiring members to our Grounds keeping team. Responsibilities for Groundskeeper Follow all safety guidelines for the operation and storage of equipment, tools and chemicals Perform routine maintenance on groundskeeping equipment Daily lawn care to include mowing, trimming, edging, raking and blowing leaves Perform regular weeding & watering Limb, brush and debris removal Lawn maintenance to include lawn, shrubbery, flower pots Perform landscaping duties as directed to include planting, watering, weeding Perform snow removal with shovel and other equipment, as needed Regular custodial work such as debris on walkways, trash removal and disposing of it in the proper containers Qualifications for Groundskeeper Ability to pass a background check and drug test Valid Driver's License is required with satisfactory driving record Ability to perform routine maintenance on groundskeeping equipment Prior experience in lawn care or snow removal helpful but not required Available to work a variety of shift times including nights, weekends and holidays Able to operate a variety of equipment and tools such as; mowers, weed eaters, chainsaw, tractor Able to lift 30-40 pounds Enjoy working outdoors in a variety of temperatures Extensive periods of sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pulling, grasping, etc. during shift Ability to understand verbal directions and closely execute with minimal supervision Reliable transportation to work location Employment with Lost Valley Lake Resort is contingent upon a successful background check and pre-employment drug test. Applicants who have failed a pre-employment screening or have been terminated from Lost Valley Lake Resort are ineligible for consideration 12 months from the date of the incident.
