Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscaping and maintenance, with a focus on ensuring the quality and precision of grading work. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate various hand tools and power tools effectively. The Grader will play a crucial role in preparing landscapes for planting, construction, and other outdoor projects. Duties Perform grading tasks to prepare land for landscaping, construction, and other projects. Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate excavators and other heavy equipment safely. Conduct lawn care activities including mowing, tree trimming, and snow plowing as needed. Maintain landscape integrity through proper irrigation techniques and horticultural practices. Assist in hardscape installation and maintenance to enhance outdoor spaces. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks. Ensure all work is completed to high standards of quality and safety. Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals efficiently. Experience Proven experience in landscaping, lawn care, or landscape maintenance is preferred. Familiarity with tree care practices, gardening techniques, and horticulture is advantageous. Experience in construction-related tasks is a plus. Ability to operate machinery such as excavators safely and efficiently. Knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance is beneficial. Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using various tools.
