Responsibilities Assist with tree care activities including pruning, trimming, and planting using proper techniques such as rigging and bucket operation. Operate bucket trucks and other landscaping equipment safely to access hard-to-reach areas for maintenance or planting. Support landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, planting, mulching, and general site cleanup to uphold high standards of appearance. Use GIS (Geographic Information System) tools for mapping and planning landscape projects when applicable. Perform rigging tasks to safely lift and position heavy materials or equipment during project work. Ensure all safety procedures are followed during equipment use and landscaping activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized manner to promote efficiency and safety. Skills Growing experience in horticulture or landscaping with a passion for plant health and landscape aesthetics. Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming, pruning, and disease management. Ability to operate bucket trucks, bucket lifts, and other landscaping machinery confidently and safely. Familiarity with rigging techniques for lifting heavy objects or materials in outdoor environments. Basic understanding of GIS technology for site mapping or project planning is a plus. Strong interest in lawn care, landscape maintenance, and overall outdoor beautification projects. Good physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
