POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Groundskeeper / Facilities Technician to maintain the beauty, cleanliness, and functionality of a unique historic property. This role combines interior janitorial responsibilities—including detailed cleaning and floor polishing—with extensive outdoor grounds maintenance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Interior Maintenance & Janitorial Duties Perform routine and deep cleaning of interior spaces, including high-traffic and historic areas Polish and maintain floors to preserve appearance and longevity Clean common areas, restrooms, hallways, and shared facilities Assist with minor maintenance, repairs, and painting as needed Support "make-ready" and general upkeep tasks to maintain building standards Grounds & Exterior Maintenance Maintain landscaped areas, lawns, and green spaces through mowing, trimming, edging, and general care Remove litter, debris, and leaves to keep the property clean and inviting Clean walkways, parking areas, and outdoor common spaces Assist with seasonal tasks such as leaf removal, snow/ice management (if applicable), and planting Monitor property conditions and report safety concerns promptly General Property Support Assist maintenance team with routine repairs and property upkeep Support trash removal and property "clean-out" tasks when needed Maintain tools, equipment, and storage areas in safe working condition Follow all safety procedures and company policies Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance needs, responding to urgent issues as required

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Previous experience in groundskeeping, janitorial, or maintenance work preferred Strong attention to detail, especially in high-visibility spaces Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable with strong time management skills Good communication and customer service skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and use of tools/equipment Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs with assistance as needed

Pay:

$20.00 per hour
