Job Summary Calvary Cemetery and Mausoleum To prepare for and service funerals; perform general maintenance at all locations of Catholic Cemeteries; a multifaceted position; grounds employees are members of SIUE Local 1 Job Responsibilities style="list-style-type:disc

• -Knowledge of all sections and equipment
• Opening and closing of graves and crypts
• Tent set up and take down
• Service graveside funerals
• Placement of casket in crypt, grave or outer container and back filling grave
• Install memorial foundations, set or reset memorial work
• Disinterment work
• General maintenance and Endowed Care work, not limited to lawnmowing, weed trimming, shrub trimming and tree care
• Training provided
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

• -High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or actively working towards obtaining CDL

• Truck boom crane
• Basket lift machine
• 12', 6', and smaller motorized lawn mowers
• Motorized push mower
• Riding, backpack, and hand-pushed leaf blowers
• Hedge, tree trimming, and string trimming equipment
• Chain saws and snow blowers
• Other power equipment
