Seasonal Groundskeeper St. Louis, MO 63146 Quick Apply Overview Salary Range $16.00 - $16.00 Hourly Position Type Part Time Job Shift Any Category Facilities Quick Apply Description We are hiring a Seasonal Groundskeeper from May 4, 2026 - September 12, 2026, at $16.00 per hour. Hours include Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm. Under the supervision of the Maintenance Specialist, this seasonal position is primarily responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the grounds: lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, secondary roads, parking areas, athletic and recreation fields, and other facilities and areas. Provide quality customer service always; maintain professional and courteous manner. Responsible for road grading and repair, sprinkling, and drainage. Attend to weed eradication. Maintain and take care of shrubs and hedges, tree removal, planting, and spraying. Maintain playing fields, picnic areas, and other outdoor venues throughout the summer season. Check time and inventory materials to be used for each job. Complete assigned maintenance work orders, logging work performed as required. May assist in the maintenance and repair of the interiors and exteriors of the buildings as requested. Perform related duties as assigned by a designated supervisor. Qualifications Must be at least 16 years of age. Must have the ability to work in warm conditions during the summer months. One to three years of experience in grounds maintenance or comparable experience is preferred. Ability to read and understand written material and instructions. Demonstrated skill in the use of lawn and garden equipment and tools. Demonstrated knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment used in the construction and maintenance of buildings and grounds, shrubs, hedges, and trees. Ability to lift objects not to exceed 50 pounds. Ability to climb and work with the use of a ladder. Ability to operate a tractor and lawn equipment. Ability to hear motor and engine noises.
