We are a full retail garden center (Roots Garden Center). Job satisfaction comes regularly from seeing what a project looked like before to what we build, and you'll be a big part of that impact! This seasonal position would include working with a crew leader to fulfill daily tasks. These tasks include planting trees, shrubs, and other plants, plant deliveries, learning correct pruning techniques, maintaining and growing plants and trees in yards, irrigation, rock work, sod, rough and finish grading, transferring materials from a trailer to a yard, removing and replacing existing landscape, and more. Every day is new. Each day brings fresh challenges, and crew team members contribute an important role to our team and to our customers; along the way, crew team members can expect to learn valuable life skills and trades that they can use for a lifetime. This position is Monday through Thursday, 7 AM-5:30 PM (four ten hour shifts with a 3 day weekend).

Qualifications:

Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds. Must be willing to work outside in all weather conditions. Must be able to perform construction or grounds maintenance tasks Knowledge of basic landscaping tools such as lawnmower, drills, weed eaters, etc. Must be able to take orders from crew supervisors Punctual and reliable A great attitude Works well on a team The employer will train all landscaping work. We serve Yellowstone, Carbon, Sweetgrass, and Stillwater counties.
