Landscape Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working outdoors and maintaining beautiful landscapes. This role involves performing various landscaping tasks to ensure the aesthetic appeal and functionality of trees, lawns, landscapes, parking lots, walkways and other outdoor spaces required to be upkept by our clients. Duties Maintain landscapes by performing various groundskeeping duties including mowing lawns, trimming trees, cleanup of rock beds, trash removal, snow removal, weed and feed lawns, install exterior lighting, clean gutters, weeding rock beds, mulching, and planting flowers or shrubs. Plan, build, and install new landscapes. Operate a variety of different hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks. Maintain Irrigation systems for plants and lawns as needed to ensure proper hydration. Must be able to accept calls any time of the day or night and be present during any and all snow event to conduct efficient and reliable snow plowing during winter months to business and residents in the city of Great Falls. Conduct regular inspections of all sites to identify issues or areas needing attention. Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner while adhering to quality standards. Qualifications Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not required. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping is essential. Knowledge of tree care practices, including tree trimming techniques. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical labor and heavy lifting. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all tasks. A valid driver's license is required for transporting equipment and traveling between job sites. $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
