  • Seasonal Hardworking Groundman with a keen eye for pristine environments, you will execute safe, efficient, and beautiful landscape operations in all weather conditions.
This job allows you to adapt to various departments and areas across our property. The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, an Averill Hospitality Resort, is Montana's premier lakefront, leisure and outdoor activity destination. The Lodge is a 4-star hotel located only 5 minutes from downtown Whitefish and 10 minutes from Whitefish Ski Resort. Our customer experience focuses on authentic Montana hospitality that creates lasting memories. The Hotel is one of several family-owned businesses under Averill Hospitality. The Lodge at Whitefish Lake , one of Montana's AAA Four Diamond resorts, is seeking a Groundsman to join our Guest Services Team through October. $16

DOE. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND POSITION PURPOSE
The Groundsman is responsible for maintaining the appearance, cleanliness, and overall upkeep of outdoor property areas to ensure a safe, welcoming, and visually appealing environment for guests and staff. This position supports daily grounds maintenance operations, seasonal landscaping, and general exterior property care throughout the resort.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain lawns, gardens, walkways, parking areas, and outdoor guest spaces Perform landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, watering, planting, and weed control
  • Remove trash, debris, snow, and ice from outdoor areas as needed
  • Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools safely Assist with seasonal property maintenance and outdoor projects Monitor grounds for safety hazards and report maintenance concerns-Support setup and breakdown of outdoor events and activities when required
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance and storage areas
  • always Follow safety procedures and company standards Work collaboratively with maintenance and management teams.
