These positions will work to maintain new and established landscapes in Asheville and the surrounding areas. Trademark Homescapes designs, installs and maintains residential landscapes in the greater Asheville area. We do everything from site work, water mitigation and hardscape to landscape design, plant installation, water features and fine gardening. The Gardener's responsibilities include watering and care of new installs through establishment and on-going care in established gardens such as weeding, watering, deadheading, spring cutbacks, and proper pruning. As a Gardener, your duties may include: Following a maintenance calendar to care for established and new landscapes. Pest and disease management Proper pruning of woody materials Deadheading and cutting back plants in the appropriate season Weeding Watering Fertilizing Job Qualifications Working knowledge of plant ID for trees, shrubs, perennials, grasses, and annuals. Experience in fine gardening, greenhouse, nursery, or plant production. Ability to take direction and work as part of a team. Communication skills. Attention to detail. Experience working outside in all weather conditions. Must be able to lift 30 pounds. Must have a valid driver's license.
