Field Hand 7206 Kepley Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27517 From $15 an hour - Part-time, Full-time From $15 an hour - Part-time, Full-time Job Overview We are looking for reliable and hardworking field hands to join our team on a 112-acre horse/sheep/bee farm. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on, outdoor work and wants to be a part of a well-kept farm. Responsibilities Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly. Must have experience with tools (chainsaw, screw gun, tractor, gator, etc.) Tasks include: fixing fences, building small carpentry items, cutting down trees, heavy lifting, lighting/ maintaining our burn pile, dragging arenas and pastures, moving/ stacking hay bales, picking up sticks/trash/debris, planting bushes/trees, farm and plant maintenance, mowing, weeding, hay field maintenance, hay field and pasture seeding Must be able to do heavy lifting (stumps, hay bales, etc.) Hours 9AM-5PM weekday or weekend availability Qualifications Must have knowledge and experience with power tools. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and supervisors. Must be physically fit to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials when necessary.
