Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Golf Course Maintenance Worker and be at the forefront of creating pristine, playable, and visually stunning golf courses. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and beauty of the greens, fairways, and surrounding landscapes. Your efforts will directly contribute to an exceptional golfing experience for members and guests alike. Responsibilities Perform routine landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, trimming, and aerating turf areas to ensure optimal playability and aesthetic appeal Operate power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to promote healthy turf growth Assist with planting, fertilizing, pruning, and general gardening tasks to enhance course beauty Conduct regular inspections of the course grounds to identify and address issues related to turf health or landscape damage Support overall course upkeep by using hand tools for detailed landscaping work and ensuring safety standards are met during all maintenance activities Collaborate with team members to implement landscaping projects that improve course appearance and functionality Requirements Prior experience or interest in landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture or lawn care is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of irrigation systems and basic landscaping techniques is a plus Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions including standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety and quality standards Basic understanding of land management practices related to golf course maintenance is advantageous but not required Embark on a rewarding career where your hands-on skills help craft an exceptional golfing environment.
