Job Description

Join Our Team as a Janitorial & Grounds Technician! The Alexander Company is currently seeking a Janitorial & Grounds Technician to join our team. This position will be located at Printworks Mill Apartments and will primarily keep our community clean, safe, and well-maintained. If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in your attention to detail, and like working independently, this could be a great fit. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to : Maintain cleanliness of all common areas (hallways, lobbies, gym, leasing office, community rooms, game lounge, theatre room, restrooms and resident storage areas).
Perform routine janitorial tasks:
vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sanitizing, trash removal, and window cleaning. Assist with light unit turnovers (basic cleaning, touch-up painting, small repairs).
Maintain grounds:
walkways, courtyards, parking areas, dumpster corral, and outdoor amenity spaces. Remove debris, cobwebs, leaves, etc. Trim shrubs and maintain clean, safe walkways. Report any maintenance issues, safety concerns, or hazards to the Property Manager. Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are organized and property stored.
Applicants must:
Have reliable transportation to and from the property. Must have a valid driver's license. Be physically able to climb a ladder & stairs. Be physically able to lift 40 pounds and perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, standing, and walking for extended periods. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Reliable, professional, and takes pride in keeping the community looking its best.
Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
